Don’t worry, we thought about you! Let us guide you through our programme of free events; with 15 events ranging from film screenings to workshops and talks, there is a free fest for you!

EXPLORE THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN CINEMA

Discover the literary movement Negritude with an imagined debate between Wole Soyinka and Léopold Sédar Senghor and as well as one of the founders of panafrican cinema and the Carthage Film Festival, Tahar Cheriaa.

Into music? We are organising a workshops around Moroccan music and documentary filmmaking with the makers of Trances, a classic documentary about Nass El Ghiwane, the ‘Rolling Stones of Morocco’.

Don’t forget to visit our visual exhibition at Whitespace! It’s your chance to learn everything you have always wanted to know about African’s lost classics between Monday 30 and Thursday 9! Our tip: pop in on Monday 30th, we are celebrating the opening with wine and nibbles!
